Model TV Series 1

A hearing in Milan first saw the new version of "thin style April 10, 1957. Introduce the fight against Vespa GS in terms of both style and performance, television was a big leap in design and engineering to its predecessors. The new TV feature curvey lines, the front wing was fixed and does not turn with the direction, like all previous models had. Shapley TV panels had slots on the front which helped with cooling, the panels of floor rear passengers continued its fluid lines to the rear of the scooter. The taillight on television featuring a red lens glasses and two orange rings on each side brake light was the unity of Lighthouse at the same location as the previous model LD-cast into the horn casting. A 70 mph Speedo was mounted as a standard casting the handlebars, which also housed a steering angle and the ignition key. brake a clutch media were polished alloy, and then thrown into dial to adjust the cables.

Later, ostensibly for reasons people see on TV a while the owner had parked and go, people often drive adjusters, so when the owner returned the brakes and clutch had been changed, Innocenti stopped by means of adjustment. Initially, they still take the shape of the wheel in the diet, but it was solid, and then later, he fell completely and casting was just smooth. Larger 10-inch wheels were fitted for comfort and stability, as well as redesigned rear internal link front suspension springs, dampers and external. At the rear, a hydraulic shock absorber unit that allowed the engine to run on its rubber mountings

TV has also seen a completely new design engine. Power source was a 175cc now (bigger than the Vespa GS, which was a 150cc) and argued that the power and 8.6 or 9.0 (depending on who cited the figures) on the TV a good turn of acceleration and speed maximum of 64 mph, despite its size and the width of a leg bone. The largest ever used in the carburetor Lambretta series has appeared on television and the longest is 23 mm 60 mm stroke. Tube assembly was now in line with the other engine, horizontal rather than vertical in the past and the 60 mm drilling, Innocenti had a car with the square 'magic', and the mounting hole, prefer the tuners that time. There was no longer the shaft drive as used in all previous models, replaced by duplex chain. Face forward of the cylinder, and again for the first time it was horizontal.

Other new features include more than 3.50 * 10 wheels, gave the handling and comfort unimaginable. The new four-speed gearbox, the complex mechanism of the gun starting the air intake pipe through the frame without the filter, with a flat membrane, the air and carpet instead of "runners" were added in other news range of Lambretta is. Badging on television has taken a long time, "Lambretta embellisher" the bottom of the panels, and a large bolt TV175 badge below, to the sides. Innocent distinctive ridge with chrome was in the middle of Horn Casting. Foot-plates were installed in a thin chrome Lambretta badge, with a distinctive pattern TV175 below it, re-chromed. UK models also received a round brass badge, with St Georges dragon on it. All tires and trim body was gray, with control cables, except the following: - the tripod legs and the starting point for the rubber blacks were, the back light body gasket was white

The production of television series One arrested in October 1959 with 18,858 examples being.

Model Li Series 1

TV 1 has been the flagship of the Innocents. However, it was really a prototype, and had several disadvantages, which have arisen from the use of roads. The larger version was launched in 1958 150cc, 125cc and smaller version in June, both models were a success, not just buying public. Completely new design of the car and saw the Lambretta motor to the primary characteristics of all subsequent models.

A new engine was designed and developed to overcome these problems, available in two sizes, 125cc and 150cc. The motors of the first occurrence of a horizontal cylinder, chain drive, four speeds. The chain of rotation of the crown that held the clutch, then it took a lot of speed and four separate reports through a tree. This provision was developed tested due to problems with the biggest engine of 175cc would be the layout and design of all future Lambrettas. Some changes have been made to this engine, the average, as models for the first time without a chain tensioner, a single magneto side oil seal which lubricates the bearing of gasoline / oil. Later models gained a chain tensioner, and a parachute lubricated magnetic, surrounded by two oil seals. Also, at the same time, oil was added disc wheel shift front arm to help keep the oil away from possible to penetrate through the oil seal on the drive side.

What is the basketball was almost identical to the TV, except for the exit of the side panel was gone, even if it is, however, a small number of models of Li does not leave the factory wearing a "TV" side panels with cutouts pigsty. The curve has been printed from the offside rear table, and the side panel, so that the new concept of operations kick started. The new curvey lines found their way into the design, and a new "style-range" Lambrettas lines running everywhere. Maintain the appearance of the machines, a great curvey fender was attached to the front, a small inner fender to the worst of time outside the wire. Front headlight was placed in the same location as the previous models, the LD, thrown into the horn casting. Speedo is the number of fusion handlebar 150cc models, but as the laws of Italy, does not require them, 125 were included Alloy wheels Speedo coverage if the cost of opportunity was not taken up the 125 models.

Also integrated on the handlebars was a hold-open latch is covered by a chrome plated cover. Greater than 10 inch wheels were fitted for comfort and stability, with a link back from new front suspension design with internal springs and rear shock unit rear suspension.

The first machines were known as "frame-eaters" because of the air intake is on the back. Dell'Orto new models of 125 MB18, MB19 and 150 models of air intake was through a door in the back of the frame, which then connects to a rubber hose to get some air to the carburetor reality within the frame. From the context of the discharge of air in a filter box, which I first saw a disposable cartridge that can be changed rather than the need to be washed, as in all previous models. It is rumored that the ventilation system has been revised as under the clothing of passengers blocked the exits and the rain was possible to enter here, causing the engine to fail. The newer models gained a vent between the two individual seats, which in turn power an air box between the fuel tank and toolbox, with this change, although the look of the rear rack has kept the contribution of holes have been completed.

The toolkit is now under the front seat, and it was through a door between the legs of the runners. The fuel tank has also expanded considerably larger machines with a capacity of just under 8 liters. Deflectors installed within the fuel tanks to stop the movement.

Small differences between the two models have been separated from each other, 125 cc of rubber seals in front of the floorboards, a "Criss Cross" shaped metal channels on them. 150cc is a mix of channels, the rubber inserts on top of them, the gums were well polished alloy wheels caps. Both 15-150 was behind the boards with plastic handle raised tread '. "The 125 version had the color code change handlebar body, and change the fence, while the 150cc versions were a natural compound and polished. Li is a long-badging" Lambretta embellishers "and the bottom panels. Foot Guards used to crest center of cast brass, which hid the two bolts to protect the horn casting, clips and character. Foot-plates were installed in a thin chrome Lambretta brand, or Li is Li125 distinctive model 150 below it, re-chromed. UK models also received a round brass badge, with St Georges dragon on it.

All the rubber gaskets and the body is gray, with control cables, except the following: - The rubber feet were black and kick stand, rear light seal body is white. Further improvements were primarily the engine, let alone crankshaft and bearings

The 125 was available in blue or two shades of gray, while the 150 was much more color options. The work of the main body was gray, with a selection of the second color on the side panels and horn cast brown, green, blue or red. This equipment has been to define the future model for all Lambrettas, and both 125 and 150 have been commercially successful Innocenti, with more than 150 000 examples made of two types of engines.

Model F

"F" model was very similar in design to his sister before, the E, with the only difference from the "F" had a kick. Again, the CF share part of the E-shaped model, with built in fuel tank toolbox under the seat and back Butty Box. The F was introduced in March 1954 and had a production run that lasted until April 1955. It should be noted that the model F 32,701, none have been imported to Britain.

Torsion bar suspension at the rear air-cooled engine directly, they have other features, with standard side stand, a center stand has been proposed as an option. Money-saving features such as brake drums made of pressed steel instead of cast iron, found their way into the model F. Half of the production cycle, the second version appeared, bearing holders similar to model D. The F model is available in a variety of paint schemes including gray, alabaster, porcelain blue, brown, white and brown and was available in various forms throughout his life.

Model E

While the Model E was introduced by Innocenti, in April 1953 no 42 352 scooters that were produced were sold in Britain. The E model has been designed as an entry-level scooter and therefore much simpler in design or model C model D. The tube frame is formed from C, under the drivers seat, built on top of this form of Part C is a box of tools, while the fuel tank was in the front seat and a box seat behind Butty passengers. By simplifying the frame construction of the plot was lighter than that used in previous models.

A big round headlight was mounted on the front of the scooter with a small circle of light mounted on the back just above the license plate. Shortened leg shields (such as Model D) was also installed. To start the scooter with a cord (found on chain saws) was mounted at the front of Magneto, could the ignition is on E is advanced and delayed to facilitate looks cord, which guarantees that the machine does not "kick back" hurt the person when you started.

The rear suspension on the model E was the same set torsion bar is in the model of D. However, the front of the bike, the suspension is elastic with respect to the relationship is in the final model D. The reverse design has witnessed link forks were back on themselves, and is used in a C shape with rubber springs between the two that allows the link to open and close range in the spring. Due to the suspension of poor models, many of which were converted by the installation of a special kit, adding a spring between the link and forks. Another change, which makes the E very hard to find today, was developed at the beginning, many were converted to F, an impulse that also included cutting the leg shields F pedal stroke has been sent to the front of the engine. The 123cc engine was essentially the same as that found in the D (with the exception of starting power) and gave the driver a top speed of 44 mph. The E model is available in gray, green or brown and scooter production ceased in February 1954.

Model LD

LD 125 (Mark 1)

The first version of the DL was not different from LC, was launched in December 1951 even though the LD compared to model D, there have been improvements. Body modifications have been made, many of which increase the overall height is 960mm. 123 cc engine has more power units, which now 5HP @ 4800 rpm. Gasification increase in size, they are using LC MA18B2 Dell'Orto. Spring front suspension with D, were now left stems themselves, this has been associated with torsion bar suspension, but now added to the group farmiliar rear shock. LD, of course, with the Lusso is a version of D, a full-length leggings, side panels and rear seat passenger pegs. LD had two portholes in the side panel, chrome trim, and kept opening the door on the upper part of the mechanism of fuel and cold start carburetor. At the end of its service in May 1953, 78 468 planes were built in the choice of gray and beige paint.

LD 125 (Mark 2)

In June 1953 a second version of the DL 125 has been introduced, and further changes. I went to the harbor, a hole in the side panel, these have been replaced by a grid of plastic oval. Control cables and wires on the handlebars were now protected by shrouds of gray plastic. 125cc power source retained its top speed of just under 50 mph the first series of LD, but has seen a change in the throttle, but Dell'Orto MA18, but now the model B3. Color options are available in two shades (although this depended on the scooter was sold in that market), is gray or beige frame work and the selection of green, blue or red side panels. Version 125 is now displayed in red and gold shield emblem letters LD flat feet, and the optional speed sensor was placed on specially constructed miniature box platform. While the speedo drive cable and install specific races of the leg bone, the results of Speedo was really after, I thought that until now, Innocenti 125cc models were built according to the law do not have a speedometer.

LDA 125 (Mark 2)

ADL was mainly in the LD, but the electric starter, even though this model has been transferred to the carburetor Dell'Orto MA18 B4. Electric start runs, 6-volt battery is located under the left side panel. A trigger device had a separate unit, which was bolted to the front of the clutch cover change, will be two 5mm Allen key. Start a scooter, you could go by using a lever on the handlebar neutral ivory, then this is the beginning with the engine and turned off the engine. When the engine has been "fired" free wheel off the unit to start the unit. Battery and power from the engine, the power of the lights and horn. ADL was a choice of two colors, gray or beige, and a total of 8694 built.

LD 150 (Mark 2)

D as a model, and LD was the older brother of the engine, the 150cc version. The same power of D, saw a maximum speed of 55 mph to go up. Inside leg shield tool box has been added to the standard, this package will also be placed on the speedometer, plus an extra meter. Another measure was optional, usually it was a piece at a time, and now are quite rare in itself, and have been known to get the whole car! Tool box was added behind the rear seat that can be reached from outside the scooter, an older model of the tool boxes were placed throughout the side panels. 150cc version was to protect the leg-bones type of character than 125 models, but this time it was blue and white, 150 of it. LD 150 was in the same colors as the 125 model, gray or green, so you can choose between green, blue or red side panels, if desired.

The ADL 150 (Mark 2)

Electric start version of the brand is now DL 2 volts 12 volts, this was achieved by connecting the two sides 6 volts. To accommodate the space occupied by a "coup" was made in the rear of the chassis behind the rear seat. A starting engine design new and more reliable was used, mounted under the rear floor. Later models had the kick epicycle has become the standard of the third version of LD. Double seats is standard, and the choice of color is the main color gray or blue, with a second color in the panels of red, blue or green. A total of 2,020 examples had been built by the time production stopped in November 1956.

LD 125 and 150 (mark 3)

January 1957, was introduced by the third round of LD in both 125 and 150cc engine sizes. 125 and 150 versions retain the same engine of its predecessor, but with the addition of an epicyclic kickstart. On the shields leg was a chrome badge showing either model LD125 LD150 or appropriate, horn threw badge Innocenti remained of earlier models. Hornet has now moved to a purpose built casting on top of the handlebar, which further help to clean the cables and son, but also housed a unit of speed. The rear of the scooter had a more streamlined, with a single tail lamp bolted to it and between it and the back seat was the door toolbox. Air intake was now taken to the rear of the chassis with a rubber hose, which helped to reduce noise induction, and increases the flow of air to produce the scooter more speed. The 125 was available in gray, while the 150 version could choose white or ivory.

Second color on the side panels are optional on the 150, which. Being green, brown, red or blue Lambretta dealers in the United Kingdom produces a variant called Riviera. This model came standard with a lot of extras, windshield before the rear carrier plate in the heel replacement, and expansion cards. We think this model was produced to help make room for incoming Li series, if this is true even if the successful marketing strategy, it also meant that traders were left Lambretta scooters for sale until the new model. No Lambrettas in Italy next summer, so the French built LD was imported as a stopgap to help fill current orders.

Model D

Model D 125 (Mark 1)

December 1951 saw the introduction Innocenti 125 D, sporting a new chassis (the tubular variety), with a tank under the front seat, passenger seat under the Butty Box, and reduce leg shields. Bicycle-style handlebar is mounted and below was a large round headlight.

Model D began life in December 1951, when the 125 (123 cc) version was introduced. "D" was basically to update the previous "C", there are many improvements under way. View the work and the structure of D, a relatively remained the same as the previous model C, the tubular design, with the same layout of the tank and the rear tool box. The engine was a new design, yet it was a cast iron cylinder air-cooled aluminum cylinder head. 3-speed gearbox is operated via a single cable is changed from Flex. More power and speed have been obtained, the power was up to 5bhp a top speed of 47 mph. Fuel consumption of 140mpg in a new MA18 carburetor.

Finned drum brakes front and rear of the bike as long as the stopping power, the rod operating the rear brake. At the rear of the bike, just above the plate, a small round-mounted brake light. Unlike previous models of the front fork tubes the suspension and closed the front springs and rear suspension has been provided through a torsion bar. The D 125 was available in a range of colors: gray, beige and green. On each side of the fuel tank decals are Lambretta.

D, were offered with accessories such as door, spare wheel and the seat of the lap, but the best retail prices D was cheap (£ 108 in 1956, lower than the Vespa) and maintenance costs, has helped make the "D" and its sister plusher LD very popular with the production of 125 series ended in January 1953 the first D Total 69 000 125 D has been built.

Model D 125 (Mark 2)

Innocenti introduced the Series II D 125 in April 1953 with about 53.641 machines that are built into its production cycle. In essence, it was very similar to Series I model D, with the same open style tubular chassis and the same air-cooled engine of 125 cc, which occurred at 4600 rpm 5 hp and gave a top speed of 47 mph

The rear brake cable is now operating in opposition to the rod is used as the Series machine. The handle used in Series D Model II were somewhat different from those found in Series I of the machine, if it continues as a bicycle handlebar. 125 D Series II is available in beige, gray or green and producing the second series was suspended in October 1954.

Model D 150 (Mark 2)

125 D models joined an older brother 150cc engine in October 1954, the largest cylinder engine and steering wheel covers similar models Lusso. Gone are the direct cooling air to the engine driving force, like the power of a single team of Teleflex, will be replaced by two "push and pull" wires. The 150 exhaust system has been redesigned and feature a chrome exhaust silence in the back, often called the "pot of coffee." For the first time, was equipped with a damper unit torsion bar suspension with comfort. With increase in the production of engine block cam 150cc greater speed above 55 mph, but still Innocenti city around 140mpg economy.

Model D 125 (Mark 3)

125 D (III) was introduced by Innocenti in May 1955, is believed to have been put into production on special order. The main changes were two-speed cables have been installed in accordance with the second series 150 model. D 125 (III) was available in three paint schemes are green, beige or gray. At the end of its production cycle in 1958 a total of 500 D 125 (III) 's was built.

Model D 150 (Mark 3)

Small changes in the second round were fittment 150D battery for parking lights, horn and brake light. This was mounted on the push side of a building built on the platform side of the toolbox. The exhaust is returned to a quiet single unit, eliminating the extra noise that can be found in the second series. The leg shields wore a badge D150 chrome, while the Lambretta name was still in sticker form on each side of the fuel tank.

Model LC

Although the Model C was sold to the Standard Model, and soon after launched the LC Innocents. Innocent was the first scooter, they offer full-length leg guards and side panels to the base Innocents all their latest models. The was "Luxury" is synonymous with luxury Italian scooters as a form of protection for pilots, engine noise and dirt, so protection from the elements. Behind the boards were intended for passengers, when the access flap on the right panel allows the driver to turn on and off the gas, and "tickle" the throttle to a cold start, without taking the whole panel off side .

LC was known as "closed model" because of the commission's work, but the genius was exactly the same as the sister bike model C. This is obviously not for the engine cooling, direct cooling of the cylinder C-model was not possible with the LC provided. won driving fins, and the wheel cylinder and were surrounded by the covers to direct fresh air to breathe and the cylinder.

Instead of a lunch box on the back as C LC had a small toolbox under the seat, where the keys, etc., can be observed. Many machines have been equipped with accessories Lambretta LC, the most popular is a rear rack for transporting large items.

At the end of production in November 1951, a total of 42,000 LC had occurred, as they are available in options of the same color as the sister model C, these green, sky blue, beige, and then instead red in C, you can choose gray.

Model C

Model C has started production in February 1950 and ended in 1952. This was also the first car, which was officially introduced in Britain, and during that time period, almost 150.00 Model C and LC were produced and sold mainly in Italy - a huge increase in production, "" & B "models.

The engine, although structurally similar to those of previous versions, has a direct air-cooled 123 cc, the engine block was now firmly attached to the frame so that the rear suspension was carried out using the compressed spring rod axis. Power 4.3 hp left, and C has been tried and trusted Dell'Orto MA16 carbohydrates and 3-speed transmission. Flex continues to maintain a telecommunications cable. The maximum speed was also listed in 44 mph is not changed, even if C had received 10 kg of weight. Fuel consumption has been quoted to be between 120-140mpg. Model C also retained the heat directly into the cylinder, obtained by the forward movement of the scooter

Unlike models A and B, model C was now full of a tubular frame. The fuel tank under the frame of the front seat and optional rear seat is also mounted in the same period. Under the back seat was still sitting in the instrument kit, but a part of the frame, to be held this year instead of an oval-shaped connector, welded to the frame. Handlebars were similar in design and the bicycle handle bars, a large round headlight was installed at the same time, the rear light units was now a smaller roundabout, which was mounted above the rear license plate.

Front suspension scooter was achieved by using the steering gear. Model C had drum brakes front and rear, the rear brake is operated through the mechanism operated foot rod. . In November 1951 a total of 87 500 C model will be produced in different colors, because they are green, brown, blue and red. Many of the options began to appear for Lambretta scooters are now available for many of you have had the 'C', such as Speedo, horn cover, spare wheel, floor mats, and protection from the elements in the form of added protection for the legs bolt, as well as some other things so you can edit the Lambretta.

Model B

Staggered by the volume of demand for the 'A' Model, Innocenti soon realised that the market would demand a more sophisticated machine, thus the 'B' was born. The 'A' was a good base to start with economy - simplicity - reliability - but the concept just needed refining.

Launched in November 1948, on face value the 'B' Model appeared to be no more than a cosmetic face lift of the 'A'. It was much more than this though, Innocenti had learned from the Model A and the Model B featured some refinements; most importantly improved suspension. This came in the shape of a coil spring damper mounted horizontally under the engine and a knuckle joint with spring suspension at the rear, with the front suspension being spring suspension in the front forks. So although the front part of the engine was rigid the back could now pivot. Tyre sizes were increased from the Model A's 3.50*7 to larger 3.50*8 which also helped improve the ride quality.

The handle bars were moved forward also for a for a more comfortable riding position, and the gear change was made easier with a handlebar mounted twist grip which on the Model B utilised a teleflex system, which of course meant that the leg shield mounted gear indicator as found on the A model was no longer needed. The handle bar gear change was a feature that would now become standard on all subsequent Lambrettas. All control cables were now moved outside of the frame to allow ease of maintenance.

The frame was again a central tubular item with chrome double tubes bent around the petrol tank and over the engine (thus supporting both the driver and pillion seats), but was raised a but higher to improve the riding position. The height gain in the chrome tubes allowed a larger capacity fuel tank to be fitted giving more range to the rider. The Model B gained other such luxuries as a leg shield mounted speedo, which was driven by a cog on the front hub.

Again as with the A, the B model had some mid production design changes with the development of the model because Innocenti were not afraid of change. First version had a seperate horn button mounted on the handle bars, with the light switch on top of the headlight. Later models saw the horn button integral with the light switch, which was then mounted on the handle bars as one unit. To start with the rear brake pedal was on the left hand side to the rear of the floor boards. This was then switched to the front right hand side, another feature that would remain with Lambretta throughout its model range. Finally on the last versions of the Model B, the brakes were upgraded or change to the use of brake shoes. Again as well as improving braking performance, it also meant that should the brakes need changing, the job was fairly small and easy to do, compared with changing or re lining the complete front or rear hub as on earlier versions.

By the end of its production run in January 1950 a total of 35,014 Model B's had been produced. Paint colours for the Model B were all metallic and the customer had the choice of: blue, red, green or beige. A gold Lambretta sticker was affixed to the rear toolbox and an Innocenti badge was fixed to the front fork stem.
